    Belated Happy New Year!!!

    Hi ......

My how time flies. Didn't realise it was July when I last put an entry on here.  My life is so full and busy all the time these days.  Still, not complaining, been having good times, spending time at the farm with horses, going out with friends....dancing the night away, working hard.....etc

Went out with Emma last night into my local town, had a good night, but we always do.  Spent all night on the dance floor.  Was flattered by a young man aged 23 who was interested in me..lol...Told him I  had a daughter not much youngetr than him.  Bless him.

Did contemplate going out again tonight, but then decided to stay in and spend some time with my youngest, who can only talk about her up and coming birthday, when she will then be a teenager.  She wants a limousine for her and her friends, even though she has been in plenty.  Still as she said, it will be different as this time it will be her special day.

My eldest is doing really well at her hairdressing course at college and is wanting to do catalouge work etc.  She is wanting to get registered with agencies and show off her port folio.  I am so proud of my girls, they are beautiful.

Hope you all had a great xmas and new year.  Happy New Year to you all.

    Thats all for now.

    Best Wishes Vicky xx

    Saturday NIght

    Hey,

Well lastnight I tried yet again to sort my daughters pc out and her connections, dont know how many times i have tried lost count, got advice from a friend and he didnt know what the problem was either.  Anyway, after receiving a call from Vicky asking me to call round to her place, to which I said I'll be there in ten mins...   Then as time goes by when I am on the pc...so very quickly...after about 40mins I eventually sorted it.  Was so chuft with myself....

Went to Vickys and watched Green Mile and was trying to get home on numerous occasions, but she kept plying me with drinks..yes more alcohol!!  TUT TUT I know.  Anyway some hours later, I returned home at 12.30am

The got some wine and came on pc.  Not much was happening in msn so went on another program I use...ISPQ...good site.  I spoke to Em on there and a few other people.  Chatted and drank away as per usual..LOL

Until eventually my bed was calling me...and I slept like a log as they say.

Em looked stunning lastnight and poor Joe wasnt well.  Hope he is feeling much better today.  Tried Em but she is out shopping at the moment...not one of my favourite pastimes....its more of a chore!

Anyway better go now and do some chores..No doubt will be on pc doing the usual tonight.

Will go and do some space hopping/visiting lil later.

    Take Care

Enjoy whats left of the weekend!

    Road Rage

    Hi All,

Well hope you have all had a good weekend and arent suffering too much..LOL
Went out to Bolton yesterday with my eldest daughter and my friend Sarah and her 2 daughters.  Sarah hd seen an ad in the local paper for TV Extras etc....So we thought we would take our daughters along and have a nosey.
Sarah is so naturally funny, she just makes me laugh all the time.  She has such a dry sense of humour.

Anyway we set off on our merry way..lol...Sarah passing comments about do I suffer from road rage..lol....To which I replied no...I just cant be doing with these idiotic drivers that shouldnt be on the roads!
We eventually got our bearings and then the penny dropped and I realised exactly where the hotel was.  Very nice hotel right in the centre of Bolton.  Red carpet was out too....to which I made a joke of it saying they had put it out for me.
Just as I was entering the car park which had a tight bend and I know that you cant get two cars through at the same time...another car came round the corner, but I knew I was far over enough and prepared...Sarah on the other hand wasnt!!  She screamed and put her head in her hands hiding her eyes I wondered what on earth was the matter.  She apparently panics when others are driving, to which I called her stupid..lol...in jest.
Anyway, moving on....we arrivedat the auditions place  and were given an information sheet to read...meanwhile looking at other people that had turned up for the event...WELL...what can I say.....It takes allsorts to make a world!  Would definately be boring if we were all the same.
Having read the information sheet and it stating that £189 would be needed etc we decided to continue and the girls had their photo taken and we went together to listen to what the young lady had to say.  Straight away she went to the £189 ad that it had to be paid on the day....it was at this point that I thought better of it as they werent even an agency, their job was to try and place you with an agency.  Sarah declined also and s we were on our way out of the room I said what a con!!  If all those people pay that and the interest etc that they will get from it befoere they have even done anything!  Plus I know of an agency, who are interested and are cheaper.
Anyway, we went and got some lunch and had a brief wander around the shops....and then made our way home.
Road rage being mentioned again...you may be thinking that I drive like a maniac...I dont!  But I am not a typical woman driver either!  certainly better driver than a lot of male drivers I have seen on the roads..LOL  Sorry guys.

We got to a set of traffic lights and I turned to my right and there was this guy just staring at me!  I had my shades on and said in a pleasant way 'What are you looking at?'  Sarah mentioned something about him staring.  Normally I just look away straight away as I am quite shy....but dont know why ...on this occasion I didnt...for some reason.  Maybe cos I was in a cheeky and funny mood and had beenhaving a really good laugh.  Sarahs comments about he can still see you just cos you have your sunglasses on..lol...Ah well.....we moved on.

Anyway we head back to my house as her daughter wanted to see my dalmatian 'Rocky' who REALLY should have beeen called PONGO....for the obvious reasons

So that was my Saturday afternoon....may not sound funny to you...but you really had to be there, my did we laugh!

    Tell me about yours.

    Changes.....Moving On!

    Hi All,

Well my friends the weekend is coming closer...Thankfully!  Hope you are all well and happy.

Well isnt it strange how your life can change so quickly!  How people can change so quickly...or maybe they werent what they seemed in the first place!!  Who knows!   Ah well, life goes on....and I am moving on!

Single again....LOL.....with another lesson learnt.  These lessons....I dont know...can get a bit tedious at times...just as well under the bubbly surface of me there is a woman thats as strong as an ox!!

Had the surprise of my life yesterday......was walking out of Asda and saw walking towards me a very dear friend of mine who I had lost touch with....due to moving up and down the coutry.  We both looked at eachother and I guess rather loudly said at the same time, 'Oh my God'.  I could not believe my eyes.  What a sight for sore eyes and she now has a 9 month daughter aswell who is gorgeous along with her 9yr old daughter Ella.   Well we hugged each other and people stared when we said OMG, hence me thinking maybe we said it rather loudly.  We exchaged telephone numbers and chatted on the phone for a good while lastnight.  Tonight shes coming to stay at mine for the night whilst we catch up with each other over a few bottles of wine......red for me of course..lol.

Cant wait!  Really lookking forward to catching up with her again.  Her name is Sarah and we used to work together and we both have such a scream, I know there will be plenty of laughter, without a doubt.

After speaking with Sarah lastnight, Em and I chatted for nearly four hours again...til just gone 1 this morning...LOL  God I did not want to get out of bed this morning and left everything until the last minute.  We put the world to rights lol and had a laugh and discussed the unfathomable things that had been happening our lives!  Still havent fathomed some of the things and dont suppose we ever will....especially Simon.  There said it!  Ah well onward and upward!  Live and let live..LOL

Maybe I just had a lucky escape!!!!

Well must go and do some work, then off to spanish and then prepare this evening.  Sarah is arriving around 7pm.  So we may be on the pc sharing our laughter etc.  Who knows..

Take Care All....Have a Good Day

    Psychic Night

    Hi All,

Hope every one is well and happy.  I certainly am and I know that I am going to be even happier again very soon.....

Anyway, won't waffle on....Lol...Lastnight my friend Vicky who you have all heard me mention so many times now, and myself went to a night of clairvoyance with 'Shaun Dennis' at a pub in Culcheth.  To be honest I hadn't heard o him before, neither had Vicky, she saw an advertisement in our local paper and as we both like that kind of thing,, we rang and booked our seats.....

Anyway, we arrived in Culcheth, a place where neither of us had been for many many years, brought back a few memories from when we kids and used to attend a disco at the Parish Church lol...which we both had a lil chat about as we walked past it........my how time flies.

Moving on, we entered the 'Harrow' (pub), which at the eary time of 7.15pm was very busy and the show didnt start until 8pm.  After paying our dues and finding a relatively good seat.....we were on the 2nd row and I was near the edge of the aisle so had a good view of Shaun.  I have to say his co-workers were all very professional and friendly and the whole set up was well set out.  They did sell out completely and  couldnt fit any more in so for anyone reading this who maybe interested there is a second performance on at the Harrow at the end of October, 28th I think it is.  He is good and although  the majority of the audience was women, there were plenty of me there too.

Initially, there is a 5minute call before the show is about to start and then a brief introduction with some backing music is played and then Shaun appears.  Not how I imagined him to be, but all the same a nice man.  He gave a brief description of how it works etc for those who hadnt attended a show of this kind before.

Several messages were passed onto people and then there was this mentioning of this tooth getting broken and a big panic to get it put back in and that it happened during an accident, during a fall.....he went on a lil further, I was nudging Vicky and saying thats you, put your hand up.  Vicky is not a shy person, shes lovely and very confident, but she would't put her hand up in case the message wasnt for her, anyway he then moved on as no-one else could say that the message was for them.  Later Vicky was disapointed and the more she kept thinking about it she knew that the message was for her and unfortunatelyt had deep regrets as now we dont know who the message was from and she has lost so many that were close to her.  I believe that it was her Aunty Babs that was coming through, I kept sensing her presence inbetween us, a lovely lady she was.  Maybe next time Vicky will put her hand up hey.....? I am going to take a look at the website and send him an email with regards to the show and I know that Vicky is going to send an email about her message and hopefully she will get a reply back.

After many messages for different people, and as I looked at one girl to my right, she was getting a message and it was about things that had happened and it was very sad, she took hold of her Mums hand and was shaking and very pale and crying at the same time.  My heart really went out to her.

There was a break after an hour of the show where people queued and queued for some of the buffet, meanwhile Vicky and I went for a cigarette and some more drinks.

During the second part of the performance, I sensed that there was going to be a message for me and although I had been to shows before i had never had a message when in a group, only when in a one-to-one. After a while, their was a mentioning of a coma and the letter J....and Shaun does say to everyone do not feed him any information. I certainly dont do that with any medium.  I sat and thought maybe its my Uncle Jim, who as most of you know passed away less than 2 months ago.  As Shaun went on I realised that the message was for me and so he thanked me and the microphone was placed in my hand.  Shaun asked me to acknowledge that what he had said so far related to either me with regards to someone that had passed on, which I did, the more he said I was just bowed over and tears were running down my face and I was virtually speechless. I nodded to acknowledge what he had said so many times and then he asked me to say yes, just sayyes he said, so the audience knew basically.  He went on to tell me that there is or will be a pregnancy for April, the audience laughed but I was quite content as I knew it wasnt going to be me, Ive no womb for a start....lol   Anyway he mentioned a Town Lane, living back to back and my dads birthday, which was his way of proving that he was who he was and that the message was for me.  As short as teh message was I was glad that he had come and said hello to me.....God Bless you Jim and Thanks.

Later when the show drew to a close, the room seemed to empty in an instant, Vicky and I went and had a few more drinks and stood outside chatting with some people we had met, we had a laugh actually, was good fun.  Earlier in the evening we were chatting to a couple that were sat behind us Janice and John and Janice gave us her mobile number and the name of two other mediums...one called Jason from Chester who comes to your home and you have to have 5-7 people and if he has no message for you he wont take your money.  The other was some young lady called Donna, who she said you go to her house and that she is brilliant. So watch this space folks! Janice asked us if we would text her to say when we had been what our thoughts were.

All in all I had an enjoyable evening and drank some but not too much and wasnt drinking wine for a change..lol

Well hope you enjoyed reading this blog as much as I did writing it.

    Take Care

    Vicky xx

    Em......Stormy.....Stormrainbow and Joe

    Hey,

Friday night came and the wine is flowing along with the chat and laughter, meanwhile Em bless her is trying allsorts to arrange her  train journey to come and stay ....and for us to finally meet.  We were on and off the phone and texting, I was beginning to think she really wasnt going to be able to make it.
Finally she announced that she had managed to get a train to Bolton and that it got in at 5.05pm on the Saturday, so I was overjoyed that she had sorted something out and we were going to eventually meet.  I had been up til abot 3am  chatting to my best friend Vicky and drinking and was so desperate to have a lie-in the following morning as I had been burning the candle at both ends for days and all had eventually caught up with me.....I do love my sleep anyway but can go without if I need to.
Anyway, moving on....I didnt get my lie-in as such through one thing and another and helping my friend out.  Followed by then sorting things ready for Emma and Joe.....'Joseph actually'....(will reveal later) Em knows lol.
The day passed so quickly and before I knew it Katie and I were on our way to Bolton station, Em had been texting saying that the train was crammed and thatthen she announced that she was at Stockport and that she may have got the wrong....Yeah, wrong train!!   I was thinking 'oh no, poor Em, poor Joe, what a journey they are having'.  Then as I was already on my way towards Bolton, thought well I better find out where she is and if she has got the wrong train, otherwise I may be needing to head in a different direction.  Not that I would have been bothered by that, just wanted the journey and their stay to be as pleasant as possible.
After some time of worrying it was confirmed that they were on the right train but it ws running late.  Phew.  Standing on the platform waiting eagerly for their train to draw in...the I saw the lights of the train in the distance.  I knew this was it and I was so pleased they had been able to make it.  I wasnt nervous as I have felt like I had known Emma for such a long time and seen her pics and pics of Joe too........
Emma got off the train with little Joe, who actually for a 6 year old is not so little.  HE was lovely with such a lovely smile.  I introduced Katie and i called Joe....Joeas thats how Em had always spoke, when I was corrected as Joe...settled himself into his seatbelt.  'Its Joseph actually', he said in sucha matter of fact manner with his beautiful young accent.  Em saying, 'Joe' and laughed.  To which I replied, 'Oh dont worry'.
Some 40 mins later we arrived a my house after calling in Asda briefly for some wine..lol.....and it was literally seconds and Joseph was fine he was playing Rocky, who I dontthink will forget his name again eh Em! LOL  He was funny bless him.  A loving little boy with such a beautiful disposition. Em he does you proud babe.
Em had said how he had been chtting up the ladies on the train and then my God-daughter arrived shes a stunner, she really is gorgeous and 6 the same age as Joseph.....and they were both chatting and Joseph was trying to tickle her, whilst me and Em looked on and laughed, passing the odd remark.  Shortly afterwards we had a little to eat as there was a buffet onat the engagement party that we were attending later that evening. Joseph had been and given me a hug and I asked if I could now call him Joe (meaning we were now friends) to which he replied yes, bless him..... what a cutie. Well Em said she had enjoyed herself as did Joe.  I can call him Joe now and he said he wanted to visit again. We had a few hiccups with taxis to and from the engagement party and then we drank some more and once again it was 3am in the morning before we went to bed.  Both Em and I were up at just before 9am, although Joe had been awake since 7 and had wanted to get up.  We sat and chatted whilst Joe played with Rocky, Rocky....my dalmatian.  After doing the norm of breakfast, lunch etc we then went to Pennington Country Park, where I thought Joe may like to se the ducks and swans on the lake and play on some swings etc....but mostly we went through the park whilst Em and I chatted as we walked along, he would be running ahead.  Both of us wondering where he was getting his energy from and thinking share some with us.  Joe did eventually get tired of walking along this path and still he carried on and had a short while on one of the swings and then we had to leave and head for the station.  The roads were very busy for a Sunday and cutting a long story short, we ended up.....as we were going down several stairs to the platform it came over on the tannoy that Ems train was in.  So there  me and Joe running ahead with Em following pulling Joes case containing both of their belongings...I dont do running!!!  (Rather well gifted...2 black eyes)   LOL ...But it was a case of I had to stop that train, fortunately people were still getting on and off but we were still a way off the train.  I am saying come on Joe, quick love.
Joe and I reached the train all other persons were on and the woman is waiting and I was saying 'come on Mummy' to Em so this woman would know that there was someone coming behind her.  Eventually they madeit and poor Em got on the train we did not have chance to say good bye properly and so as soon as the train had left I was texting my goodbyes as I made my way back to my car.  It was funny and I am chuckling now as I type this...was one of those where you had to be there I guess.  It had been a great weekend and I really enjoyed both Emma and Joes company and you are both very welcome.  At Emmas request, I am not allowed to put any pics of her on my space.....God knows why because she is lovely and such a lady and loving mum.  But I shall respect her wishes and hope she will change her mind.  Thanks to both of you for a great weekend was lovely to finaly meet you and hope you come and stay again soon.
    Take Care

    Feelings

Hi All, Hope you are all well.  Well was on pc last night and had an absolute scream with Em.  Then we chatted on the phone for what didnt seem like very long, but before we knew it, it was 3am.  We put the world to rights and all that kind of stuff.  Had a great time.  Thanks Em.  Bless Ya.
Today was a different story, after struggling to drag myself out of bed this morning and feeling very dehydrated after drinking nearly 2 bottles of red wine lastnight (13.5%) and still havent quenched my tghirst so just thought oh sod it have a hair of the dog as tehy say,.....so yeah am continuing from where I left off.  Ah well glutton for punishment.  Today was rather strange, went to my Uncle Jims house as my brother and I had been asked to go and see if there was anything that we may want to take.  I came back with a few things including a lovely cream leather lazebo reclining chair.  However, it was so strange going through his house and his belongings with him not being there.  I didnt rummage through anything as we went through my Nan would just say do you want this to several different items.  It was quite upsetting and I did feel quite sick at one point, and my stomach felt all strange.  The sickness wasnt anything to do with drinking as I generally dont have hangovers nor am I sick.  I just lose the sense of feeling in my lip for a little while sometimes and get dehydrated.  Anyway, enough of my babbling, I am okay now, was just rather upsetting at the time and strange.

Will try and add to my blog more now I have my connection problems resolved!  Have a good weekend all.  xxxx

    FAMILY

Yesterday at the wake following the cremation of Uncle JIm, which was held at the Hare & Hounds in Timperley, where all was very nice and the food superb.  More importantly it was so nice to spend some timed with all the family close and distant.  Was especially nice to see my Aunty Cath, Uncle Keith and my cousins, unfortunately Steven the eldest was unable to make it due to his work commitments and living so far away, butt knowing Steven I know he was with us in spirit.  We all only seem to get together for parties, weddings, funerals and so my brother and I took it upon ourselves to collate mobile numbers so as to keep in touch.  I don't want to just see family on occasions such as funerals and now that I am living back in the North West I intend to visit them and have invited them to visit me also.  We have such a lovely family and no matter how many years may have passed we always speak and get on like we spoke a day or so ago, with the exception of the catch up chat. Simon my cousin sat next to me and although we were sad at the loss of Uncle Jim we also had a good few chuckles along with his sister Janet.  Its been so nice to see everyone again and for anyone reading this remember you never know when your number is up (as they sauy)......So....'Don't put off for tomorrow, what you can do today, for if you enjoyed it today, you can always do it again tomorrow'.
Family and friends are important to me and always will be....so if ever I haven't been in touch feel free to give me a nudge, its probably a case of I have thought and thought and meant to but just been busy and then its been too late in the evening.  Those of you who I love and care for and hold as friends enjoy every moment of life and keep in touch!
    Love Vicky xxx

It's the day after my Uncles funeral, wel he was actually cremated, which was his wish.  I attended along with my brother Mat and my Dad, a few words of how he used to be and the things he loed etc were mentioned on our journey to the cemetery.  Meanwhile, me being me was repeatedly asking them did they know where they were going as both of them sounded like 'two old women', I just got told to stop panicking.  We arrived at Southern Cemetery where there was another funeral procession with goodness knows how many cars.  We parked up and got out, I looked around at the other visitors and said, this isn't my Uncle Jims funeral.  It was a huge cemetery, with an East Chapel, West Chapel and so on.  Anyhow I spoke with a gentleman and it appeared that we should have taken the next entrance to the cemetery.  So as there were only about 10 minutes left before our service for Jim was about to begin I was begining to panic, and this time so was my brother and Dad. We quickly made our way to the car and although the cemetery grounds were huge the next entrance was only a few hundred yards up the road, thankfully I may add.  I saw my Nan sat in her car looking so distraught, tired and weak.  God Bless her she isnt good health herself, she very rarely goes anywhere as she struggles to walk etc. Today she was attending the service of her dearest brothers cremation.  I am so close to my Nan and love her dearly, I asked her if I could sit with her during the service, not that I could do much, but I just wanted to give her my support and love. I will never forget how cold her hands were throughout the service as I held her hand.  My poor Grandad who cares for my Nan, helping her do everything, he looked so tired and weary, Bless Him.  Uncle Jim loved the ladies, he used to make me laugh with his tales and the way he told them.  So it was arranged that he had a lady vicar for the service, who was also from a chapel near his home.  She was a pretty little lady and Jim would have been so happy that she carried out the service for him.  However, when I saw his coffin I thought it looked so small.  He wasn't a tall man, but he was of a good build, just like the Kirkham trait.  Although during the last several months etc he had lost a lot of weight.  I was not looking forward to the service as usually I end up a complete mess, sobbing continuously, but the service and the words spoken and the way in which they were spoken seemed to calm me.  I listened intently and carried away wih me some words of comfort as I grieve for my Uncle and battle on with other things in my life.  I have felt rather bitter over a few things of late, but it is like those bitter feelings have been lifted away from me and I know my Uncle Jim is looking down smiling.  Thank you Jim for all the happy times you gave me and many others.  You always made me laugh whenever I came to visit you, I loved you and still do and I now trust that you are with Aunty May and no doubt still loving your ladies as you rest in heaven, where Ella (the lady vicar) said there are no tears or sadness.  Be happy, free of pain, forever loved and certainly never forgotten!  Sorry I hadn't seen you more often but with living so far away it made it rather difficult as I wa\s at an oposite end of the country.  I did not visit you in hospital as I knew your health had deteriorated and I wanted to remember you the way I had with so much laughter and looking well.  If you had been conscious and had known who was there visiting you then I would have pushed my feelings aside and visited, but that sadly was not the case, you were in my thoughts and still are.  Rest now.  All my love Vicky xxxxxxx

Sadly my Uncle Jim passed away this afternoon after being admitted into hospital a few weeks ago with a chest infection and indergoing some tests it was discovered that just over a week ago that he had inoperabale stomach cancer.  He wasn't aware of any of this thankfully as he was unconscious.  His last months were spent bedridden and prior to this he had been a fit and healthy man until his wife my Aunty May passed away, where his health just deteriorated.  He had many good years and lived to a ripe old age of 89.  Well done Uncle Jim, may you now rest in peace and meet up with your beloved wife.  I am so upset to lose you but I know and understand that its better for you.  You are already missed by all your family and friends.  You were always so much fun and such a happy character.  Let peace now be with you and you rest in peace.  Love you so much.  All my love forever Vicky. xxxx

I am sick of the word cancer.  So many people that I love have been taken away by the dreaded disease.  My mum god bless her is still battling it after several operations and chemotherapy and is now left with a stoma bag and battling that too.  So  anyone who reads this who may know someone who has cancer or lost someone from it, believe me my heart goes out to you and if you want to talk about it, just leave me a message.  Keep fighting Mum, love you loads.  Lots of Love  Vicky xxxx
